The STORM CELL™ network uses advanced lightning detection and digital paging technology organized into regional cells. Lightning data is provided to the STORM CELL™ network under a license/distribution agreement with Vaisala, the world leader in design and provision of lightning detection equipment and information systems. As lightning threatens one of our STORM CELLs™, it is detected and activates a warning signal sent to all Strike UPS™ units within the cell, triggering an audible alarm. The user may override the disconnect sequence or heed the warning at which point, Strike UPS™ disconnects all electrical connections including power and phone line providing substantial separation and insulation between all contacts.
